Payment Terminal Integration - Nuvei Verifone T650

Payment Terminal Integration – Verifone T650 with Hippos 2.0

Overview

This guide explains how to configure the Verifone T650 payment terminal for integration with Hippos 2.0 using Nuvei Semi-Integrated mode.

Setting Up the Verifone T650 for Integration

1. Open the Nuvei AVF App

Launch the Nuvei AVF application on the Verifone T650 terminal.

2. Access the Settings Menu

If the terminal is NOT yet in Semi-Integrated mode:

You will see the main setup screen.
Tap Settings.


If the terminal is ALREADY in Semi-Integrated mode:

You will see the Semi-Integrated screen.
Tap GO TO STAND ALONE to access the settings.

3. Enter Clerk Credentials

When prompted:

  • Clerk ID: 1
  • Password: 111111

4. Navigate to Semi Integration Settings

Go to:

Settings → Semi Integration

5. Configure Semi Integration Settings

Enable the following options:

  • Toggle ON → Enable Semi Integration
  • Toggle ON → Enable Stand Alone Password

Under SEMI INTEGRATION MODE:

  • Select RETAIL

Choose the preferred receipt printing option:

  • Print on the payment terminal device, or
  • Print from the POS

6. Exit Back to the Main Screen

Press the back button <| repeatedly until you return to the main terminal screen.

Configuring the Terminal in Hippos Cloud

1. Log Into Hippos Cloud

Sign in to your Hippos Cloud account.

2. Navigate to Store Devices

Go to:

Misc. Utilities → Store Devices

3. Open Payment Terminal Settings

Locate the POS device you want to configure.

Under the Action column, click the Credit Card icon.

4. Enter the Required Information

Fill in all required terminal information.

Click Save once completed.

Configuring the Terminal on the Hippos POS

1. Open Settings

On the POS:

  • Press the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the main menu
  • Select Settings

2. Open Payment Terminal Settings

From the left-side menu:

Select
Payment Terminal

3. Configure the Terminal

Set the following:

Merchant Service Provider:

Nuvei

Payment Terminal Bran:

Verifone

Payment Terminal Model:

Verifone T650

4. Enter Terminal Credentials

Fill in the following information:

Merchant ID

Provided by your merchant service provider.

Can also be found on the terminal:

  • Tap GO TO STAND ALONE
  • Check the TID section

Terminal ID

Provided by your merchant service provider.

Can also be found on the terminal:

  • Tap GO TO STAND ALONE
  • Check the TID section

Register ID

Provided by your merchant service provider.

Register Auth Key

Provided by your merchant service provider.

5. Save the Configuration

After entering all required information, click SAVE, Then TEST. Test successful message should appear.

The Verifone T650 terminal should now be successfully integrated with Hippos 2.0.
